Craig Dunn has been selected to lead the Dallas office of AmWINS Brokerage of Texas.

He succeeds Todd Teitell, who is retiring after having served as office president since 1997.

Prior to being promoted to this role, Dunn was a managing director of AmWINS’ national professional lines practice. He joined the firm in 2005.

The Surplus Lines Stamping Office of Texas (SLSOT) appointed Kyle Bolls as director of Finance.

Bolls previously worked in financial regulation for the Texas Department of Insurance, most recently as the registrations auditor for Company Licensing & Registration, where he was responsible for non-admitted markets, including surplus lines, solvency issues and financial reporting of insurer operations and troubled companies.

Serving as the department’s team lead over Texas captives, Bolls managed captive application and financial requirements to include reviews of feasibility and actuarial studies.

Bolls has extensive experience in software applications, financial advisement, NAIC data and analysis reporting, including dashboard development.

Lighthouse Management LLC, a licensed MGA representing Lighthouse Property Insurance Corp. (Lighthouse), appointed Jennifer Cochran as marketing representative for eastern Louisiana.

With eight years of experience in the insurance industry, Cochran’s has held positions in territory sales, agency relations and account management. Prior to Lighthouse, she served as a territory sales and agency relations associate for Centauri Specialty Insurance Holdings Inc.

Cochran is licensed in both property/casualty and life/health.

She will be responsible for growing and maintaining an agency production force of independent insurance agents and expanding the Lighthouse name throughout Louisiana as she partners with western Louisiana marketing representative, Gary Ardoin.

Ardoin joined the Lighthouse team in May 2015 and brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience in sales, marketing and underwriting roles.

National wholesale brokerage and managing general agent Worldwide Facilities LLC added two new members to its team in Dallas

Philip Collins joined Worldwide Facilities as senior vice president, Financial Services.

With more than a decade of experience placing risk for healthcare, private companies, nonprofits and financial institutions, he is a licensed D&O and Privacy CE instructor and served as a key member of Chubb and ACE Producer Advisor Councils.

Prior to joining Worldwide, Collins spent 11 years at Crump (now CRC).

Matt Sheehan also joined the Dallas team as senior vice president, Financial Services.

He is a seasoned senior professional liability broker with over 14 years of underwriting and brokerage experience. His specialized expertise includes Professional, Executive, Healthcare, Media, and Cyber/Privacy Liability exposures.

Sheehan spent 11 years at Crump (now CRC) before joining Worldwide Facilities.

Texas Insurance Commissioner David Mattax appointed three members to serve on the board of directors of the Texas Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association. New board members are Thomas Munson of Brownwood and Robin Vincent of League City. The commissioner reappointed James Harrison of Arlington to the board.

The terms of the three appointments expire on Sept. 30, 2021.
