Portland. Ore.-based ID Experts has named Kimberly Holmes senior vice president and counsel in cyber insurance, liability and emerging risks.

Holmes will be responsible for overseeing cyber and insurance litigation developments, as well as the corresponding cyber liability and enforcement maters impacting the insurance industry.

Holmes has legal and insurance experience, including more than 17 years in specialty insurance. She spent nearly 15 years with Chubb Specialty Insurance, and was most recently was vice president in product development for OneBeacon Insurance Group.

ID Experts is a provider of identity protection products.

G2 Insurance Services has named Martin Fox-Foster claims manager.

Fox-Foster will be located in the company’s San Francisco office.

He will serve as a resource to G2 Insurance’s commercial clients, advocating on their behalf for a range of property/casualty, cyber and environmental claims.

Fox-Foster was assistant vice president and claims advocate lead at Alliant Insurance Services in San Francisco prior to joining G2. He was also an insurance litigation solicitor at Berrymans Lace Mawer LLP, a London-based law firm.

San Francisco, Calif.-based G2 is an independent insurance brokerage firm.

QBE North America has named David Kuhn senior vice president and regional executive for the Western region.

Kuhn will be based in California and will lead QBE’s go-to-market activities in the 10-state region. He will be accountable for the region’s profitable growth across QBE’s set of insurance businesses and products, as well as all agent and broker relationships and performance in the region.

Kuhn has more than 30 years of. He joins QBE from Hanover Insurance Group, where he was regional president of the company’s Pacific region. He was senior vice president at QBE North America before that. He spent seven years at Balboa Insurance Group before and after it was acquired by Bank of America. Kuhn also has served in leadership roles at The St. Paul Cos., Hartford Specialty Co., Travelers Insurance and Aetna.

QBE North America is part of QBE Insurance Group Ltd.

Monterey, Calif-based Capital Insurance Group named Brian Janitschke chief actuary.

His responsibilities will include directing the actuarial functions. As a member of the executive team, he also will be accountable for carrying out the company’s business strategy, operational goals and financial objectives.

Janitschke has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry in property/casualty and professional liability. He began his career with the St. Paul Cos., working in various locations with increasing responsibilities, and eventually became regional actuary in the commercial insurance division.

He co-founded Curry MacWilliam Janitschke. Other positions include vice president and actuary at Collins, vice president and chief pricing actuary and professional liability product leader at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co., and most recently senior vice president programs product/territorial leader within the QBE programs division.
