Lighthouse Management LLC has appointed Laura Vizzini as the Marketing representative for North Carolina.

Vizzini comes to Lighthouse with seven years of experience in the insurance industry having worked as a sales agent, team leader, performance manager, and marketing representative. She is a graduate of Queens College.

Vizzini’s plans include onboarding new, independent insurance agents and help current Lighthouse-appointed agents grow the Lighthouse brand, and their own.

Vizzini will partner with South Carolina Marketing representative, Brian Crisp.

Lighthouse entered the North Carolina market in September 2014 and is executing its plan to grow throughout the Carolinas.

Lighthouse Management LLC is a licensed MGA representing Lighthouse Property Insurance Corp.

Lighthouse is an admitted property and casualty insurance company authorized to write in Louisiana, South Carolina, North Carolina and Texas.

Lighthouse sells and distributes its policies only through licensed, professional independent agencies.

The Hanover Insurance Group Inc., a Worcester, Mass.-based holding company for several property and casualty insurance companies, has appointed Mark L. Keim as executive vice president of corporate development and strategy.

In this role, Keim will work with members of The Hanover’s senior team to identify strategic business opportunities and to develop and implement the company’s long-term business plan.

Prior to joining The Hanover, Keim co-founded HealthReveal, a pioneering big data analytics company.

Before that, he held key leadership roles at Aetna from 2008 to 2014, serving as global head of strategy and corporate development as well as president of the organization’s venture capital business.

He also served as senior vice president of strategy and business development at GE Capital and held financial leadership roles at PepsiCo and Salomon Brothers.

Hylant has promoted Andria Herr to the newly created position of senior vice president, Employee Benefits Client Strategy & Resource Development. She was most recently the Orlando office president. Herr has 30 years of experience – including 15 years working on the carrier side and 15 years on the broker side of the industry. She has worked with underwriting formulas, plan design and experience analysis.

Herr received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stetson University in Deland, Fla.

She served on the board of directors of the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools and currently serves on the board for the Foundation for Seminole State College.

She will continue to work from Hylant’s Orlando office.

Hylant was founded in 1935 and is a full-service insurance brokerage with 14 offices in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee and Florida.

Hylant offers risk management services, employee benefits brokerage and consultation, loss control, health care management and insurance options for businesses and individuals.

Hylant is a privately held brokerage firm in the United States serving clients locally, nationally and internationally.

Brentwood Services Administrators Inc. (BSA) headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn., has hired Zachary Vedros to the position of application developer in the IT Department, according to Jeff Pettus, president and chief executive officer of BSA.

In his new position under Steven Woods, director of the IT Department, Vedros will be responsible for developing extensible applications to further streamline workflow processes, as well as producing reports and data analytics for both internal and external clients of the company in their data reporting needs.

Prior to joining BSA, Vedros was employed by Home LLP in Ridgeland, Miss., as an application developer.

Vedros is a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville, Miss., earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business information systems.

Brentwood Services Administrators Inc. provides claims management and loss control services to employers and employer associations.

It works with self-insured and large deductible programs for workers’ compensation and other casualty lines throughout the contiguous 48 states.
