Tim Brady, shareholder and senior vice president of Texas-based Brady, Chapman, Holland and Associates Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of RiskProNet International, an association of independent insurance brokers in North America.
Brady joined the firm in 2008, following in the footsteps of his father, Jeff Brady, BCH president and CEO; his aunt, Jan Clark, senior vice president and chief operations officer; and his grandfather, Tim Brady, founding partner and chairman of the board.
Prior to joining BCH, he began his insurance career in the wholesale brokerage and insurance company sectors at AmWINS Brokerage of Texas.
He holds numerous professional designations, and is a member of Community Associations Institute, Growth Advocates and CEO Network Partners.

Louisiana-based mutual workers’ compensation insurance company, LWCC, has welcomed Thomas K. “Tommy” Huval as the newest member of its board of directors.
Gov. John Bel Edwards appointed Huval to serve as a representative of agents licensed to sell workers’ compensation insurance in Louisiana with executive-level experience.
Huval has been regional president of the retail division at Brown & Brown Inc. since September 2015 and serves as its senior vice president. He is president and CEO of Brown & Brown of Louisiana LLC (formerly Huval Insurance Agency Inc.) based in Lafayette.

Texas-based independent managing general agency and surplus lines broker, MD Jensvold & Co. Inc., has opened a location Shreveport, Louisiana, and added three new members to its team.
John Hellyer joins Jensvold as lead underwriter in the Louisiana office. He brings 25 years of experience from all levels of the industry including MGAs, and national and regional carriers. He was previously responsible for training and managing multiple offices throughout Louisiana while at Deep South.
Tamica King joins the Jensvold binding team as a production underwriter in Louisiana. King has more 10 years of extensive commercial property/casualty underwriting experience.
Tonia Tilmon also joins the Jensvold binding team as a production underwriter in Louisiana. Tilmon has been in the insurance industry for more than 20 years, working with regional commercial MGAs.

Argo Surety appointed James Bluzard as central region vice president for contract surety.
Based in Houston, Bluzard is responsible for building out local office teams and supervision of underwriting and related activities.
Bluzard brings 17 years of experience in contract surety underwriting and is the newest addition to the nascent contract surety operation for Argo Surety.
He comes to Argo from Liberty Mutual Surety, where he spent 13 years, most recently as contract bond manager responsible for Houston.
Bluzard holds the Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB) industry designation.

As the president of AssuredPartners NL, Stocksdale will oversee strategic growth, and expansion of the company while maintaining the day-to-day operations of the AssuredPartners NL platform for the Kentucky, Southern Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana regions.
