Bridget Bergan of New Britain, a Casualty Facultative Underwriter for General Cologne Re in Hartford, has been appointed to the Connecticut Young Insurance Professionals board of directors.
“As an active participant in CTYIP, I have seen first-hand the impact the association’s programs have for career-minded individuals seeking advancement in the industry,” Bergan stated. “Educational programs geared toward leadership development and management skills and networking events are components of the association’s efforts.”
The new director is a graduate of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish. She’s been an active member of the CTYIP’s Special Events Committee since joining the association.
