The New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) will present its 8th Annual Insurance Industry Conference on Jan. 26-27, 2004 at the Harvard Club, 27 West 44th Street in New York City.
The NYSSA’s announcement noted that P/C “rate increases are decelerating after several years of double-digit increases, and it looks like competition is increasing in some lines. Life insurance stocks seem poised to continue their recent rebound in a stronger economy, after two difficult years.”
The following companies are presenting on day one: Argonaut Group (AGII), Universal American Financial Corp. (UHCO), American Physicians Company (ACAP), RLI Corp. (RLI), The Navigators Group, Inc. (NAVG), ProAssurance Corporation (PRA), Nationwide Financial Services, Inc. (NFS), and FBL Financial Group, Inc. (FFG).
The following companies are presenting on day two: HCC Insurance (HCC), Selective Insurance Group, Inc. (SIGI), American Equity, Harleysville Group, Inc., Citizens, Inc. (CIA), and Kingsway Financial Services, Inc. (KFS).
The day one session will be held from 8:00 am to 4:30 p.m. the day two session from 8:00 am to 3:30 p.m. Open registration is available until January 21.
