A message from the New York State Insurance Department, as relayed by the Professional Insurance Agents of New York, Inc., reminds all of the state’s individual P/C agents that the license renewal process is scheduled to commence March 1, 2004.
The announcement concerns Property/Casualty Agent renewals for the period 2004-06, and urged all individual P/C agents to speedily renew their licenses by accessing the Department’s Web site at: http://www.ins.state.ny.us.
The PIANY bulletin also noted that “Postcards will be mailed to all licensed individual property/casualty agents announcing their ability to renew online and providing information regarding the online renewal process.”
Online renewal is not yet available for Corporate, Partnership, and Limited Liability Company entities. Renewal applications will be mailed to these organizations by March 1, 2004.
