ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of The ACE Group of Companies, has announced the appointment of John Alfieri as Regional Executive – New York Region.
“Based in New York City, Mr. Alfieri will be responsible for setting and driving the overall strategic direction for the ACE USA New York Region, which comprises the Metro New York City area and parts of northern New Jersey,” said the bulletin. “He will have responsibility for the regional production plan, distribution, product sales and marketing, producer management, staff management and overall operations.”
“ACE USA’s regional management strategy is a key component of our commitment to delivering exceptional service and growing our business throughout the United States,” noted John Lupica, President of Regional Operations. “Under John’s leadership and guidance, we look forward to growing our presence in the New York area and contributing to ACE USA’s profitable growth.”
Alfieri joins ACE USA with more than 23 years experience in the insurance industry. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President & Managing Director with Willis North America, where he oversaw the expansion of the large account practice area for Willis Risk Solutions. Before joining Willis he was an Executive Vice President with Munich-American RiskPartners. Earlier in his career, Mr. Alfieri held risk management and underwriting positions with Texaco; Heddington Insurance Ltd., Texaco’s captive company in Bermuda; and AIG.
