The Insurance Brokers’ Association of the State of New York (IBANY) will host TRIA Extension: The New York Impact, a panel discussion featuring leaders on the forefront of actions to renew the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002 on Monday, April 25.
The panelists include U.S. Congresswoman Sue Kelly of the 19th District; U.S. Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney of the 14th District; Superintendent of Insurance Howard Mills and Real Estate Board of New York President Steven Spinola.
Monday’s discussion is expected to focus on how critical the renewal of TRIA is to the New York marketplace and also will feature an update on the status of legislative activities in both houses.
The discussion will take place at the Down Town Association at 60 Pine Street, New York.
