It’s because in Massachusetts, the state set rates for auto insurance premiums. Now since individual companies have the power to set there own rates they will fall.
The companies always had the ability to offer lower rates here in MA. The state set the highest rate that could be charged, not the only rate, so where were these companies not offering deals to good drivers before?
It makes the industry look bad when all along you could have just said ok lets compete.
And now they give back 20% of your darm premium?? Why were you taking it to begin with then?
