AssuredPartners, a portfolio company of Chicago-based private equity firm GTCR, has purchased SKCG Group, a White Plains, N.Y.-based agency. The company said the SKCG acquisition provides a strategic asset and an opportunity to expand into the greater New York metropolitan area.
AssuredPartners said it will provide SKCG with strategic and financial support and resources to better support customers and drive continued growth. The insurance agency will maintain its day-to-day operations, and the company’s name and location will remain the same. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. SKCG has revenues of approximately $18 million and more than 80 employees.
Headquartered in Lake Mary, Fla., AssuredPartners acquires and invests in property/casualty and employee benefits brokerage businesses across the country.
