A.I.M. Mutual Insurance Companies, a workers’ compensation insurer based in Burlington, Mass., has appointed industry veteran Michael Standing as vice president. His responsibilities include market and product development as well as broad-based project management.

Former Guy Carpenter executive Michael Standing joined A.I.M. Mutual as vice president.
He brings 25 years of property/casualty experience to A.I.M. Mutual, having been vice president of the casualty divisions of Munich Reinsurance Company and Zurich Reinsurance North America in addition to treaty reinsurance broker for Sedgwick Re.
Founded in 1989, A.I.M. Mutual has approximately 150 employees, with more than $100 million in revenues. Headquartered in Burlington, Mass., A.I.M. Mutual has additional offices in Bridgewater, Holyoke and Marlborough in Massachusetts and Concord, New Hampshire.
