Willis North America Appoints 2 Executives in New York

Willis North America, a unit of global insurance brokerage Willis Group Holdings, announced two executive appointments in the New York region.

Willis is a leading insurance broker that provides risk management and employee benefit services across a wide range of industries. Willis of New York Inc., one of Willis’ largest retail operations, serves clients from its offices in New York City, Melville, N.Y. and Norwalk, Conn., as supported by over 300 associates.

Louise Pennington has been appointed chief operating officer, Willis of New York. Pennington will be responsible for driving Willis’ client advocacy model and heightening client service to Willis’ New York clients. She will manage a team of 90 client service professionals to serve the middle market and complex risk segments. Prior to joining Willis, Pennington served as managing principal at Integro Insurance Brokers. She will be based in New York City and report to Joe Gunn, national partner, Willis North America.

Alexandra Littlejohn has been appointed regional placement officer, Willis of New York. In this role, she will oversee roughly $1.7 billion of insurance premiums placed into the marketplace on behalf of Willis’ New York and New Jersey clients. In her capacity, she will also oversee Willis’ data-driven placement tool, WillPLACE, to help clients select appropriate insurance carrier partners. Prior to joining Willis, she served as executive vice president at First Service Financial and as managing director at Marsh, Inc. Based in New York, she will report to Joe Gunn, national partner, Willis North America, and to Matt Keeping, chief placement officer, Willis North America.
