Novato, Calif.-based Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company appointed Michelle Impey as fine art director, personal insurance. She is based in New York City.

Prior to joining Chubb she spent two years as an art researcher with Wildenstein and Company in New York. She is a member of ArtTable and The Arts & Records Committee of the Inland Marine Underwriters Association.
In her new role at Fireman’s Fund, Impey will focus on sharing information with agents, brokers, and policyholders on current trends affecting the fine art and private collections markets.
Her responsibilities will include consulting with agents, brokers, and clients to provide expert loss prevention advice and services with respect to the display, transportation, and storage of fine art and other valuable items and enhancing partnerships with service providers specializing in the needs of high net worth collectors.
Fireman’s Fund said Impey’s extensive experience in the fine art industry will enhance the insurer’s capabilities and position as a provider of insurance services and products for the high net worth market.
