Unbelievable!! I hope whatever settlement is agreed to is very, very low – if not thrown out altogether.
Blaming American Airlines for this tragedy is ridiculous. Perhaps American Airlines should sue this firm for placing their employees in such tall buildings!
I’m on the fence about this. We have to remember that this took place prior to the TSA screening travelers. I cannot recall who was ultimately responsible for security measures at that time.
Hindsight certainly shows that cockpits should have been locked. Does anyone know if airlines were held responsible for pre-911 hijackings? If so, that would be the precedent.
Until judges across this country throw out these types of lawsuits, we are all going to continue to pay…. It was tragic… but some how some way we as Amereicans have to STOP “finding someone else responsible” for things!!

Only in America.
I totally agree with Scott. Put me on that jury. That is shocking to sue the airline!
I’m sure there will be subrogation possibilities with Saudia Arabia & everyone else from that part of the world. Yes, I AM joking.
