MAPFRE Insurance has entered the Pennsylvania insurance market. MAPFRE’s operations in Pennsylvania will be headquartered in King of Prussia and the company will offer private passenger automobile and homeowners insurance to customers through its network of independent agents.
MAPFRE’s launch in Pennsylvania is part of the company’s continued growth in the United States, starting in 2008, when MAPFRE S.A., the parent company of MAPFRE Insurance, acquired The Commerce Group, Inc. MAPFRE now sells insurance in 17 states across the U.S., including Pennsylvania’s neighbor states New Jersey, New York and Ohio.
MAPFRE Insurance, a provider of personal automobile insurance in the United States, is part of the MAPFRE Group, an international insurer with business in 47 countries on five continents.
