Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC, the middle market agency subsidiary of Marsh, announced Monday that it has acquired Corporate Consulting Services Ltd., a New York City-based insurance brokerage and human resource consulting firm. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Established in 1989, Corporate Consulting Services specializes in providing employee benefits, retirement planning, and human resource consulting services to a diverse range of clients in the non-profit and for-profit sectors across the Northeast.
Corporate Consulting Services generates $6 million in annual revenues and has 20 employees, all of whom are joining Marsh & McLennan Agency’s Northeast region.
Corporate Consulting Services will continue to operate out of its New York City office under the leadership of its President and Chief Executive Officer Grant Dougherty. It will immediately begin operating under the Marsh & McLennan Agency name.
Marsh & McLennan Agency said the acquisition would further enhance its employee benefits platform and design for clients in the Northeast region.
Marsh & McLennan Agency is a subsidiary of Marsh established in 2008 to serve as a platform for the middle market. In 2015, it expanded its national footprint into Canada. Marsh & McLennan Agency offers commercial property, casualty, personal lines, and employee benefits to midsize businesses and individuals across North America.
