Arch Insurance Group, a division of Arch Capital Group Ltd., announced that Belinda J. Rowan has been named to the position of Managing Director, Ocean Cargo, beginning May 27.
“In her new role, Ms. Rowan will focus on growing Arch’s ocean cargo and transportation sector business of the marine insurance industry,” said the bulletin. She will be based in Arch’s Philadelphia offices and will report to Vincent Liotta, senior VP of Global Marine and Energy.
“We are very pleased to be able to have a person of Belinda’s caliber join us at Arch. Her talent and abilities will contribute to the growth of our position within the American cargo market,” Liotta stated.
Rowan has more than 25 years of knowledge and experience in the marine insurance industry. She’s a former VP and manager of the ocean cargo line of business at ACE USA and a senior VP of INAMAR, a subsidiary of ACE, where she managed a national cargo portfolio, which included global, multinational and captive customers.
