Hagerty Collector Car Network Launches New U.K. Affiliate

The Hagerty Collector Network announced the continued expansion of its collector car specialty program with the launch of its new U.K. insurance affiliate, Hagerty International Ltd. The new Company will provide “U.K. enthusiasts with specialized collector car insurance policies including event, cargo and track usage and is one of the only true collector car specialists in the U.K.,” said the bulletin.

“The establishment of Hagerty International represents the latest step in our company’s continuing commitment to its agents,” stated Gordy Fitch, Hagerty’s senior manager of Agent Sales and Service. “Now our stateside agents will be better able to handle customers’ needs on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as provide specialized products and services to meet the exact needs of collectors – no matter where they are located.”

Hagerty said its “U.K. customers receive the same signature Hagerty touch, which includes superior customer service, competitive rates and the benefits of Hagerty’s involvement in the collector car hobby. Hagerty’s physical presence in the U.K. gives agents an opportunity to assist their U.S. customers with improved overseas touring and cargo packages for travel abroad, vacations or attending events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

“Like its U.S. counterpart, Hagerty International is actively involved in the collector car market through vintage motor sports events and car clubs, as well as working toward establishing a charitable organization, similar to the U.S.-based Collectors Foundation, to support the collector car hobby in the U.K. The Hagerty International office is located at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, England, home of the British Grand Prix and the British motor racing industry.”
