Guy Carpenter & Company, Inc., the global risk and reinsurance specialist of the Marsh & McLennan Companies, announced the appointment of Ken Farricker as Senior Vice President in its Global Surety Specialty Practice.
He is based in Morristown, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, and joins the existing management team of Eric van Elkan, Managing Director and Scott MacColl, Senior Vice President.
“Ken brings extensive experience in the domestic and international surety product lines to Guy Carpenter,” Van Elkan noted. “He has strong relationships on both the primary and reinsurance sides of the business, and he will be a key asset in helping us continue to expand our client delivery capabilities in this area.”
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Farricker, 41, was Vice President at AIG, where he led the North American division of the firm’s International Surety Group. He is a graduate of Drew University.
