Willis Group Holdings announced that Hart Insurance Brokers has joined its UK “Willis Commercial Network” (WCN), as the system continues to grow. There are presently more than 74 local, independent brokers.
Willis described WCN, which it started in 1998, as a partnership arrangement that helps “members form stronger relationships with insurers, enabling them to provide better products, client servicing and policy terms.”
Hart Insurance Brokers of Clydebank “has been in business for over 42 years,” said the bulletin. “The company is run by business partners Keith Hart and Alistair Hart.” The firm will remain committed to providing customer service to SME, personal lines and financial services clients, but will be able to enlarge its option by utilizing the expertise of a global broker.
Keith Hart expressed his delight at joining the WCN. Bernard Farrell, WCN Regional Managing Director for the Scottish Region, welcomed the new addition. He noted the substantial success Willis has had with the system in the UK and indicated: “We now plan to export this very successful model to other territories in our drive for growth.”
