Reynolds to Head ACE’s International Personal Lines, SME Business

The ACE Group of Companies has announced the appointment of Douglas Reynolds as head of international personal lines and small-to-medium enterprise (SME) business. He will be responsible for expanding ACE’s presence in the personal lines and SME markets, focusing primarily in the Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific regions.

Reynolds joins ACE from Horace Mann Insurance Company, where he was Executive Vice President – Insurance Operations. He will report to John Keogh, CEO for ACE Overseas General, the company’s international property and casualty insurance division.

In his most recent assignment with Horace Mann, Reynolds was responsible for P/C, which included “pricing, underwriting and claims; the life and annuity division; and client services for all business lines including call centers and sales and marketing functions.”

Prior to Horace Mann, Reynolds was with AIG, first as Chief Operating Officer – Personal Lines International, and later as Regional Vice President and Chief Operating Officer – Southeast Asia Region. He began his insurance career with Allstate, where during his 23-year tenure he rose through the ranks with positions of increasing responsibility. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from Valparaiso University.
