Bermuda’s XL Capital Ltd. announced that it has appointed Fiona Muldoon as Senior Vice President, Global Treasurer. She previously served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Development and Planning Officer for the Company. In her new role, she will report to XL’s CFO, Brian Nocco.
As Global Treasurer, Muldoon will “oversee XL’s Treasury operations, including global liquidity, funding, cash management, foreign exchange management, capital management, rating agency relationships and credit ratings management,” said the announcement. “She will continue to be responsible for XL’s Corporate Development & Strategic Planning functions.”
Muldoon has held various progressively senior leadership positions since joining the XL group of companies in 1993, including Vice President and Controller of XL Europe Ltd, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of XL Europe Ltd, Treasurer of European Operations, and Managing Director of XL’s operations in Dublin. She relocated to Bermuda in 2003 in the role of Senior Vice President and Financial Planning Officer for XL Capital Ltd and she became Senior Vice President and Corporate Strategy, Development and Planning Officer in March 2007. Prior to joining XL, Muldoon held financial accounting and auditing roles with Chase Bank Ireland and Deloitte & Touche, respectively.
