The New York-based Navigators Group announced the hiring of Paul Hennessy as President, Navigators Holdings (UK), Ltd. He will be responsible for Navigators’ operations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and will report to Company President and CEO Stan Galanski.
Hennessy has more than 35 years of international property/casualty underwriting and underwriting management experience. He spent 22 years with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies in a variety of assignments, including European Commercial Customer Group Manager and 10 years with CNA, including five years as Chief Underwriting Officer of CNA Europe. He is a graduate of the University of Exeter and holds the designation of Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute.
Galanski Welcomed Hennessy to Navigators, and indicated that the Company has “significantly expanded our footprint in Europe with the establishment of offices in Antwerp and Stockholm, in addition to our London-based business units.”
Hennessy’s “hire reflects our commitment to our Lloyd’s and U.K. branch operations, as well as our expectations for future expansion in Europe, the Middle East and Asia,” Galanski added.
