The insurance business seems to offer the wrong sort of incentives to its employees, if it wishes to remain privatized, and not government run.

The insurance business seems to offer the wrong sort of incentives to its employees, if it wishes to remain privatized, and not government run. I live in the US. It used to be that no one would ever give out their social security number. Now credit card companies can track your cell phone down by way of your social security number, and it seems that its become a mandatory requirement to participate in the business deal.

For now, you opt in.. What happens when there is no insurance available to you, if you don’t opt in?
