i read all these stories . it is terrible to read something like that where people get scammed by big auction houses. i got in contact with sotheby”s i want to sell a very rare piece of amber . a sherry amber buddha . 12″ tall his waight 4 lb . he has been authenticated as 100% pure amber . by gemologist jeff hicks 3326 del prado blvd. cape coral florida . lolli”s jewlry. on the 12-18-2014 with so many inclusions mostly on the bottom and middle . lesser on top . he also has a small blue spot on top of his head as mr. hicks explained to me for it to be copper . i know the value of this piece . and this is a collectors dream . noone else has something like this .i am the only one on the planet.. 4 lb of pure amber . but i am to scared. to shipp it if i would have to..its fine with me , the fee the deserve , no problem here ,, .. but not bigger then the piece would have been sold for . and i wind up with very little money . as i know now . the value to be in the 2 million category.. i always thaught highly of sotheby” but after reading all this . i dont know now if i can trust them .
