AXA ART Appoints Kuklinski as New Global CEO

AXA ART announced the appointment of Kai Kuklinski as the new global CEO of the company’s operations, effective April 1, 2014, succeeding Dr. Ulrich Guntram. The appointment is subject to the approval of the German regulatory authorities.

Jacques de Vaucleroy, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the global AXA Art Group and CEO of AXA NORCEE (Northern, Central and Eastern Europe) Region Noted Kuklinski’s “long and diverse experience in leading sales and customer service initiatives within AXA Group;” adding that he would “greatly contribute to the further development of AXA Art’s business.”

Kuklinski currently serves as Executive Director of the Broker Distribution of AXA Konzern AG. He has held several management positions within AXA Group subsidiaries since 1999. His previous roles include among others: Digital Officer of AXA Winterthur Versicherung AG in Switzerland, Director Customer Service of AXA Service AG, and Unit-Manager eCooperations/eMarketing of AXA eSolutions GmbH.

The bulletin also announced that beginning April 1, 2014, Dr. Guntram “will assume the position as CEO of AXA Corporate Solutions Asia, an AXA company focused on providing insurance services to international corporate clients.”

He has held multiple management positions within AXA Group since 1996, most recently as global CEO of AXA Art. “Over his tenure, he contributed to AXA Art’s leading position as a specialist insurer within the art world. He paved the way for the company’s successful expansion into new markets and developed new lines of business,” the bulletin continued.

Jacques de Vaucleroy said: “I have enjoyed working with Ulrich Guntram over the years. Ulrich has contributed to positioning AXA Art as a global leader in a very competitive market environment. I highly appreciate his outstanding engagement and wish him the best in his new position as CEO of AXA Corporate Solutions Asia.”
