RSA Appoints Gray as Marine Sales & Broker Manager, London Market, Europe

RSA, one of the largest UK marine insurers, has appointed Calvin Gray to the newly created role of marine sales and broker manager, London market and Europe. Reporting to Richard Turner, marine director, Gray will be responsible for driving sales and broker management activity across London and Europe, supporting RSA’s most important broker and customer relationships.

Gray moves to this position from his previous role as business development manager for RSA’s marine Europe and international cargo team. Between 2012 and 2013, he was business development manager for AIG’s private client group.

During his career he also was development underwriter for the private client division at Chartis (2010 to 2012); senior underwriter for Clegg Gifford and Co. Ltd. (2008 to 2010), and lead servicing underwriter for Aviva (2005 to 2008).

Commenting on Gray’s appointment, Richard Turner, marine director, RSA. said; “I’m delighted to announce the appointment of Calvin Gray to this new role. It demonstrates the commitment to grow and develop our marine trading and sales division by continuing to deepen our relationships with our key marine brokers to maximise our growth opportunities in a very competitive market.”
