UK’s Towergate Hires Accenture to Manage IT Infrastructure Transformation

Towergate, Europe’s largest independently owned insurance intermediary, is undertaking an IT infrastructure transformation across its entire business to address challenges posed by legacy systems and lack of integration and has chosen Accenture as its strategic service provider.

The transformation program focuses on four service towers – networks, data centers, end-user computing and service support. Accenture will migrate Towergate’s infrastructure and applications to the public cloud – supporting the data center and end user computing service towers.

Towergate and Accenture have also signed a five-year arrangement for Accenture to manage service support across the whole IT infrastructure estate.
