Hub International Ltd., the Chicago-based global insurance brokerage, announced it has acquired HSBI Benefits Inc. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, HSBI Benefits specializes in employee benefits insurance solutions.
Curtis McCone, president of HSBI Benefits, will join Hub Ontario as president of Wealth Management and Employee Benefits and report to Greg Belton, executive chairman, Hub Ontario.
Hub International Ltd. said it is committed to growing organically and through acquisitions to expand its geographic footprint and strengthen industry and product expertise.
