Facebook isn’t doing anything. Facebook supports terrorists. A friend of mines brother lives in Pakistan. He was overheard saying that he thought Islam was a cult. He was charged with Blasphemy. Numerous people have made threats on Facebook against his whole family because of that. Threats that they are very likely to try to follow through. When we report these posts to Facebook, Facebook refuses to remove them.

Any medium that supports free speech will become associated with the worst parts of society. That is the cost of free speech.
