Cincinnati Financial Corporation has named Heather J. Wietzel the company’s first investor relations officer, with the title of assistant vice president of The Cincinnati Insurance Company. Wietzel joined the company on June 9, reporting to Chief Financial Officer Kenneth W. Stecher. She is responsible for managing relationships with Cincinnati Financial’s investors.
Wietzel is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and has more than 18 years of experience in providing and implementing strategic counsel for publicly traded companies. Cincinnati Financial was one of the clients she served as head of the investor relations practice for Dan Pinger Public Relations, a position she held for eight years. Under her counsel, Cincinnati Financial established programs that created investor interest and increased the number of analysts who follow the company. Before joining Dan Pinger, Wietzel was a partner at the Financial Relations Board in Chicago.
