Northbrook, Ill.-based premium financier and agency lender FIRST Insurance Funding Corp. announced the appointment of Kathryn Walker-Eich as senior vice president.
Walker comes to FIRST with 20 years of experience in the commercial lending field and will run the company’s insurance agency commercial loan program. In this capacity, Walker will be furthering FIRST’s objective of funding the acquisition and perpetuation needs of agents and brokers across the country—a population of business owners who are typically underserved by their own bank.
Walker has been with FIRST’s parent company, Wintrust, for 11 years, serving as executive vice president of commercial lending since 1994. Agencies interested in loans are encouraged to contact Kathryn directly at (800) 837-3707, ext. 4979, or e-mail her at krwalke@firstinsurancefunding.com.
