Wagenfeld Levine, a multi-state insurance defense practice, announced that attorney John S. McCollough has joined its St. Louis office as head of civil litigation and partner.
A litigator with more than 18 years of experience, McCollough has focused on the defense of personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, aviation liability, municipal liability, and premises liability claims for self-insured and large-retention companies, insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
Formerly a partner with Helfrey Simons & Jones in St. Louis, McCollough has tried numerous jury trials in Missouri and Illinois, and has argued matters before the Missouri Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.
At Wagenfeld Levine, McCollough will continue his representation of several national retail, shipping and transportation companies in the areas of premises liability, including third-party and security matters, wrongful death, products liability, municipal liability, automobile liability and insurance litigation.
