Neb. Department to Hold Meeting on Insurance License Testing Oct. 10

The Nebraska Department of Insurance will hold a public meeting to provide information about the Insurance License Testing Program on Tuesday, Oct.10, 2006, at 3 p.m. in the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1040 P Street, Lincoln, Neb. 68508.

Officials from the Department and representatives of Thomson Prometric will provide trainers, managers and publishers with information concerning the testing program and candidate performance, as well as collect comments and answer questions from those attending.

A new Licensing Information Bulletin reflecting any changes for Nebraska candidates will be available in early December 2006 for exams on or after Feb. 1, 2007. Any license candidate planning to take a test February 1, 2007, or later should have a copy of the new Bulletin. It contains test content outlines, forms and information on how to register and then schedule tests directly with Thomson Prometric. When ordering Bulletins, please specify whether you want the current February 2006 edition or the new edition planned for February 2007.

Customized outlines and sections of the Bulletin are also available through Thomson Prometric’s Web site at www.experioronline.com. Larger orders (five or more) should include the complete street address for shipping purposes, as well as the number of Bulletins required for an initial three-month supply.
