The Hylant Group recently hired William Gahr as a claims consultant, vice president in its Cleveland, Ohio location. According to the Hylant written statement, Gahr brings experience to the company in the areas of claims administration, risk management services and general, products and auto liability claims consulting.
Prior to joining Hylant, Gahr was manager for Crawford & Company’s Integrated Service Center for the Ohio and Kentucky region since 2002. He was director of Workers’ Compensation for LTV Steel Company from 1984 to 2002. Gahr started his career in the insurance industry in 1982 as corporate manager of safety for Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp.
Commenting on Gahr’s hiring in Cleveland, president of the Cleveland office Mike Hylant said: “Bill is a great addition to the team. His experience assures high end ideas and solutions to claims methodologies and resolution for our clients.” Gahr says of his new position at Hylant, “I’m excited to be part of the Hylant team and look forward to contributing to its ongoing success.”
The Hylant Group, headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, identifies itself as a full-service business insurance brokerage with ten offices in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.
