Lockton Cos. has expanded its insurance services for law firms and other professional service organizations in the Chicago office with the addition of Alaina Walls as its new vice president and account executive.
Walls is primarily responsible for evaluating the errors and omissions insurance needs of client law firms. In addition to helping firms interpret policy language, at renewal, she will negotiate with insurance carriers on the firms’ behalf to secure appropriate limits and coverage. Walls duties also includes helping client organizations secure other types of professional liability insurance including cyber-risk, management liability and employment practices coverage.
A licensed attorney with the New Jersey State Bar, Walls has 15 years of professional liability insurance experience. Prior to joining Lockton, she was with Marsh’s New York-based National Law Firm Practice. While there, Walls was responsible for servicing middle-market and large law firms throughout the U.S. Her professional background also includes positions with AIG.
Walls is the second leading insurance expert for law firms to join Lockton Chicago in recent months. Mark Harris, senior vice president and producer joined the firm in December. Like Walls, Harris has extensive experience in marketing professional liability insurance products to the legal community, the Lockton release said.
