Court officials say jury selection is under way in the trial of former North Dakota workers’ compensation Director Sandy Blunt.
Blunt is accused in Burleigh County of misspending Workforce Safety and Insurance funds on gifts, meals and trinkets for employees and state legislators, and on illegal bonuses for WSI executives during his time as director.
Blunt was forced out of the job in December 2007.
Court officials said potential jurors reported to the Burleigh County Courthouse at 8:45 a.m. on Dec.11.
