Indianapolis, Ind.-based privately held insurance agency MJ Insurance, celebrating 45 years of client service, announced it has ambitious plans for growth and expanding business opportunities throughout the Midwest.
MJ Insurance CEO Mike Bill says over the next five years, the multi-generational, family-owned business plans to aggressively grow the agency 30 to 40 percent by adding new service lines and expanding into new areas of expertise. Much of this growth will occur in the Midwest with similar growth expectations percolating in the Southwest. MJ Insurance also has offices in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Among the agency’s distinctive service offerings are:
- MJ represents all but two National Women’s Sororities and hosts an annual seminar focusing on safety issues for sorority leaders.
- MJ represents more than 20 Japanese-owned auto component manufacturers.
- MJ assists in implementation of on-site family practice clinics at organizations with at least 150 employees, saving these organizations hundreds of thousands of dollars due to decreased claims and workers compensation costs.
MJ has also grown the agency organically by investing heavily in training and development of new associates, and select agency acquisitions. MJ Insurance has an alliance with Assurex Global, a worldwide partnership of independent insurance, risk management and benefits brokers further cementing the agency’s service line.
MJ Insurance currently has clients in 16 countries and in every U.S. state.
