Iowa-based Bearence Management Group, has hired Donald W. Goon as a senior risk consultant in Minneapolis, Minn. He will focus on benefits, compensation and retirement plans while addressing a variety of other business and financial services needs. Working with clients of all sizes, Goon focuses primarily on commercial, privately-held companies.
Goon has more than 25 years of benefits experience and is the founder of benefits brokerage and consulting firm, Benefit Consultants Inc. (BCI). He joined Stanton Group in 2002 as a partner/consultant to help create one of the largest benefit and insurance firms in Minnesota. Stanton Group was acquired by Gallagher Benefit Services in 2008.
Since its entry to the Twin Cities, Bearence Management Group has merged with three longstanding Twin Cities-based insurance agencies.
