Indiana Insurance to Expand School Program in Iowa

Indiana Insurance, a Liberty Mutual Agency Markets regional company, is expanding its school marketing efforts in Iowa. Indiana Insurance currently insures more than 1,100 public districts, private and charter schools across its nine state Midwestern operating territory.

Indiana Insurance tailors its school program to meet individual school districts’ needs. Comprehensive core coverages are available, in addition to workers’ compensation and employers’ liability, school leaders’ errors and omissions liability, law enforcement professional liability, sexual misconduct and molestation liability, and violent event response coverages.

With an emphasis on loss prevention and school inspections, Indiana Insurance encourages its school clients to be active participants in safety programs. The company regularly hosts free Safer Schools Seminars for administrators, addressing such topics as school security and violence and bullying prevention with internationally-recognized school safety expert Michael Dorn, Executive Director of Safe Havens International.

Loss Prevention training and multi-hazard site assessments are offered for physical plants, playgrounds, bleacher and athletic facilities, kitchens and food services, science labs, and vocational shops.
