Talk about a slap on the wrist. Deferred?? Come on now, I don’t think a year in jail is too bad considering she STOLE $17,000 in premiums from her insured’s. It’s people like her that make a bad name for the real professional insurance agents. What a shame; what happened to “do the crime, pay the time”. Have a great day all!
Wow — I hope there is more to this story — you steal $17K and you get a slap on the wrist of a small fine and a deferred sentance that will wipe her record clean??? Wouldn’t this be giving her an opportunity to try it again if she has a clean record?

is this fuzzy math? take $17000 pay $2000 and get out of jail free. What happpened the full restitution to who every paid the premiums.
I am with you. $2,000 in restitution for taking $16000. What a deal!
Sure does in this case. How about making her repay $19,300 and splash her name all over the place? Might make her think a little more.
