Aon Risk Solutions has promoted LeAnne McCorry as national managing principal of the business and executive chairman of the Detroit, Mich., office and Carol Williams as resident managing director and chief executive officer of the Detroit office.
McCorry, who has been with Aon since 1991, will lead a national team to deliver growth within the high-net worth personal lines and executive benefits division by increasing internal and external segment visibility and executing effective cross-selling strategies. In her role as executive chairman, she will maintain and build upon high-level relationships with key clients. She is certified as an Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding and Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter. McCorry was named one of the “Most Influential Women” by Crain’s Detroit Business in 2007.
Williams is a leader with a proven track record of driving value and growth for a wide range of clients, most recently specializing in the automotive industry. Williams will now oversee Aon Risk Solutions’ operations in Michigan. Williams joined Aon in 1999 and is known for her adeptness at building resource teams that drive client value. She has earned certification as a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter.
