Neenah, Wis.-based Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co. has promoted Carol Sanders, to executive vice president (EVP) and chief operating officer (COO). Joining Jewelers Mutual in 2004, Sanders most recently served as the company’s senior vice president, chief financial officer, and corporate treasurer.
In her new role, Sanders will drive company results for Jewelers Mutual’s personal lines and commercial lines divisions. She will oversee the company’s sales, distribution, marketing, underwriting, loss prevention, product management, pricing, actuarial services, project management, and business analysis functions, as well as lead strategic plan development. Sanders will continue to report to President and CEO Darwin Copeman.
Prior to joining Jewelers Mutual, Sanders had 12 years of experience in corporate finance and three years in public accounting. Sanders holds designations as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Manager (CFM), and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
