POWERS Insurance and Benefits Adds Dowd, Walgren

Clayton, Mo.-based independent insurance agency POWERS Insurance and Benefits hired Meaghan Dowd as personal account manager and Barb Walgren as insurance advisor.

Dowd will assist producers in procuring new business. She also will handle risk management and day-to-day service for personal lines’ clients and prospects. Prior to joining POWERS, Dowd served as a customer service representative and producer at various local insurance companies.

Walgren’s responsibilities include developing new clients and managing their risk, as well as handling existing accounts and maintaining client satisfaction in the property and casualty marketplace. She previously worked as a personal lines insurance sales representative, as well as vice president of Client Relations at a local title company.
