Bernard L. Hengesbaugh, chairman and chief executive officer of Chicago-based CNA, was elected chairman of the board of the Insurance Information Institute. Klaus G. Dorfi of the Atlantic Mutual Companies was elected vice-chairman.
Hengesbaugh succeeds Edward M. Liddy, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Allstate Corp., who had also chaired the III personal lines committee and remains on its executive committee.
