Chubb Specialty Insurance (CSI), part of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, has consolidated three of its product groups into a new business unit called Chubb Professional, or “ChubbPro.”
Sean M. Fitzpatrick, CSI’s chief underwriting officer who is also a licensed attorney, heads the new unit, reporting to Robert C. Cox, chief operating officer. The new unit combines the Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions), Media/Intellectual Property, and Mergers & Acquisitions product groups.
ChubbPro will underwrite the following insurance lines: E&O, including Lawyers, Accountants, and Miscellaneous Professional Liability; Media/Intellectual Property, including Safety’NetSM, Chubb’s E-commerce liability product; Mergers & Acquisitions, which includes Chubb’s Representations & Warranties and Tax Opinion Liability insurance products; and Customized Employment Practices Liability, Crime Insurance, and other specialty products for professional services firms, including programs endorsed by the American Bar Association and the American Corporate Counsel Association.
