Automatic Data Processing, Inc. Claims Solutions Group (ADP) has announced a web-based version of its ADP Database Reference Manual available for free at www.ADPClaims.com/DatabaseManual.html.
ADP Claims Services Group is a subsidiary of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., and is a provider of integrated business solutions for clients in the property and casualty, general health, collision repair, and automotive recycling industries.
The manual will provide quick and easy access related to ADP estimates, according to Rick Tuuri, senior directors of industry relations. Anyone is welcome to use the manual, with hopes that they will better fully understand the content of an ADP estimate.
The database also allows for users to find answers that might otherwise involve one or more phone calls, according to Tate Linden, product manager for the ADP Database.
The database itself includes parts, labor, pricing, and images for vehicles sold in the U.S. and Canada since the early 1970′s. It has been known as the only automated, vehicle-specific and option-driven database in the U.S. It has also received historical accuracy rates of 99.98 percent.
These features lead to faster and more accurate estimates. It contains more than 12,000 files for vehicles produced by nearly 50 different manufacturers. Additionally, there are approximately 9,000 unique parts, over 1.4 million unique part types with prices, and about 550,000 graphical illustrations.
