idNET, Afni Inc. Merge 24 x 7 Initiatives

April 15, 2002

idNET, a provider of Internet solutions for independent agents, announced that Illinois-based Afni Inc. and Connecticut-based idNET along with its Arizona-based Artizan Computing group have merged their efforts to form a singular product and services focus to the 24 x 7 Agency Branded Customer Service.

“This merger demonstrates how two strong companies can come together to form a common ground to benefit the independent agent,” Richard Roy, chairman and CEO of idNET commented.

idNET, through its Artizan division, was the first company to introduce an agency focused set of products and services to enable agents to address the growing 24 x 7 marketplace.

Dirk Boudreaux, president of the AMS Users’ Group, which is one of several industry organizations that have endorsed idNET’s CSR24 product along with its Web site development product noted, “We are very excited about this merger. We were always convinced that idNET’s approach to agency branded 24×7 was the best fit for independent agents and now that they have teamed up with Afni, we are even more convinced.”
