LexisNexis™ Insurance Solutions Launched to Facilitate Investigations and Information Verification

News and information provider LexisNexis™ has launched an online investigative tool for insurers, LexisNexis™ Insurance Solutions, using public records’ collections to facilitate investigations and information verification.

The subscription-based service is available to special investigative units, fraud unit managers and investigators, loss control and risk management departments. Features of the tool enable users to locate, verify and validate information about people and businesses, identify assets, aliases and affiliations, and uncover judgments and liens. A proprietary feature incorporated into the fraud solutions page is the LexisNexis Smartlinx™ report feature, which gathers information from more than 1.6 billion public-record documents and generates a single, comprehensive report. The investigative tool locates and associates links between people, businesses and locations that would normally take hours or days to gather and cross-reference.

The LexisNexis Insurance Solutions site also has a direct link to The National Fraud Center Inc., a consultant in fraud and identity theft.
